Finance Assistant London
In a nutshell...
We are actively recruiting for a sharp, bright and ambitious Finance Assistant to support the Senior Finance Manager and CFO in the day to day running of the Finance Department at BrandOpus.
You will be the “go-to” person within the business for any finance queries, as well as processing expense claims and invoices as and when needed.
You will be organised and efficient, keeping a clear filing and process system of what has been invoiced, posted and paid, and have the ability to keep up with the demand and fast paced nature of the business.
The role in a bit more detail:
This is a varied and busy role – you’ll assist in maintaining the company accounting records and be responsible for processing all purchase invoicing through the finance system, getting signed approval from relevant people throughout the business.
You’ll raise sales invoices to send to clients, add new suppliers and clients to the finance system and will take ownership of credit control for the business.
You will post the bank daily and compile the weekly payment runs, making sure suppliers are paid on time and will manage the credit cards within the business.
You will be first point of call for all new starters when it comes to setting up their profiles on the finance system and will train them on how to manage expenses and timesheets, which you will then take ownership of, processing expense claims and ensuring timesheets are completed correctly.
Finance queries from around the business, from suppliers and clients, will come to you, and you will be confident either managing these or escalating where needed.
What we’re looking for:
A super organised and sharp thinker, who can juggle a number of requests at any one time. You’ll be a meticulous filer and know where all the paperwork is stored. You’re firm and fair – ensuring processes are adhered to while being friendly and approachable to all. Someone with excellent time management and attention to detail who is also a strong communicator both internally and externally, will be a good fit for this role.
